About me

Daksh Sachdeva
My name is Daksh Sachdeva, and I’m a student at NYU Stern School of Business and a passionate wildlife enthusiast and photographer from Jaipur, India. Introduced to nature and wildlife at a young age, I developed a deep fascination with the natural world early on. My first tiger sighting in Ranthambhore - of the legendary Arrowhead - left a lasting impression on me and sparked a lifelong curiosity about these elusive felines. Since then, I have embarked on numerous wildlife expeditions across Rajasthan, from the dhonk forests of Ranthambhore and Sariska to the rocky outcrops of Jawai. Through my photography, I strive to capture and share the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world. In 2024, I was honoured to be a finalist in the Natural History Museum's Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
